Hello, Rose,
It was so nice to have your email regarding to the two Chinese students who arrived in the UK recently. Of course they do need your help to settle in their new life. I believe it is very helpful to overcome their aloneness if you can invite them to go parties and some group activities. On the one hand they can understand your social life, learn English and make communication and find friends quickly. On the other hand, you British students could also benefit from understanding Chinese culture and learning some Chinese if you wish. I hope you all are going well and have a great time together.
