Harvard University is the oldest institution of
higher learning in the United States．It is located in
Cambridge,MassaChUsettS,on the eastern coast
of the United States．
Established in 1 636．Harvard was named after
its first benefactor,John Harvard,of Charlestown．

minister left his library and half his possession to
